Ali Merchant, a popular actor known for his performance in the web series Libaas and reality show Lock Upp, has also made a name for himself in the music industry as a DJ. However, the multi-talented artist recently suffered a painful injury during a concert, leaving him struggling with intense discomfort.
Recalling the incident, Ali shared his distress in an interview with The Times of India, saying, “I was at the show when I suddenly felt a jerk in my lower right back, and it turned into a really bad muscle spasm. The pain was so intense that I couldn’t move at all. I had to stay in one position because even the slightest movement was unbearable.”
Despite attempting to ease the pain by staying hydrated, the discomfort persisted. The situation worsened when Ali had to travel back to Mumbai after the show, further straining his back. He explained to The Times of India, “Carrying my bags and the whole journey back to Bombay just added to the strain.”
Currently, Ali is undergoing intensive physiotherapy sessions two to three times a day in a bid to recover quickly. With another travel commitment scheduled for next week, he is determined to regain his strength. “I’m just trying to heal in time,” he told The Times of India.
Ali’s injury is a reminder of the physical challenges performers often face in their demanding careers. As he focuses on his recovery, fans and well-wishers continue to send him their support and hope for his speedy return to the stage.
