Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 have been satisfying the entertainment quotient and obtained the audience’s attention. In the recent episode, the amazing singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam marked their presence and participated in the show to support the Smit Foundation. Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam won Rs 25,00,000 for the old age homes and obtained additional funds from the production house of the show.

The Bollywood Superstar invited the renowned singers Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam in a special episode Shukravaar Karamveer with a musical start by singing Tumko Paya Hai Ke Jaisa Khoya Hoon. This episode going to mark the iconic presence of Shreya Ghoshal's first- time hot seat experience, the singer is in tears after hearing about heartbreaking stories of Abandoned elderly Parents.  Shreya Shared with Amitabh Bachchan that she is in mixed feelings like both nervousness and excitement after being seated on a hot seat with the host.

To calm her nerves, Big B said that Sonu has been in the previous seasons of Kaun Banega Crorepati and played brilliantly and advised her to take some inspiration from Sonu Nigam. This duo played the game to donate the fund to Smit Foundation which is an old age home dedicated to elderly abandoned parents. The foundation is the home of 126 senior citizens where they are physically, mentally, morally and financially dependent. As each senior citizens have a heartbreak story in their life, after hearing those stories, the singer Shreya Ghoshal has been seen in tears. Sonu Nigam also revealed how elderly parents are beaten by their children in their homes. Yojana Gharata who is behind the intense support of the Smit Foundation, was appreciated by Big B and the audience. The production house of KBC 16 also came forward and donated Rs 5,00,000 to the Smit Foundation.
