Munmun Dutta portrayed the character of Babita Ji in the famous sitcom series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah at a young age. The audience is fond of her bond with Jethala and enjoys the sequence of both of them on the television screen. Talking about the same, Munmun Dutta shared that she was quite young when portraying the character of Babita Ji. She added that as she is only 20 years old, all the senior actors in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah were quite older than her. By sharing a close and personal bond with her co-stars, she had an amazing time on the sets of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

When she was asked to share about her experience with Bhida aka Mandar Chandwadkar, she stated that Mandar was very funny and he had a great sense of humour even off-camera. As the interview was focused on Bengali food habits, Munmun stated that she is a rare Bengali who doesn’t prefer to eat fish and meat. She also suggested to taste Prawns malai curry from Bengali cuisine to satisfy taste buds. She revealed the real meaning behind her name in the interview. As Munmun is a common Bengali household name, and so her parents decided to keep them. But her close friends and family members will call her “Moon”.
