Currently, she essays the role of Goddess Saraswati in the mythological show Karmadhikari Shanidev. And now, beautiful actress Sangeeta also plays the role of demoness Shrupanakha in the upcoming show Srimad Ramayan opposite Nikitin Dheer.
Fans are excited to watch her performance on the screen in two contrary shades simultaneously. Actress Sangeeta is excited about being part of two shows; she says that I will be essaying the role of demoness Shrupanakha in Srimad Ramayan. She is the daughter of sage Vishrava and Rakshasi Kaikeshi and a sister of Lanka king Ravan. We all know that Shurpanakha’s role in the original epic is small, yet significant.
She praised the makers of Srimad Ramayan and said here the makers are focusing on the characters, so the audience will learn more about her. Shurpanakha’s bond with her brothers is beautiful and we only know about her as the one who met Ram of Ayodhya. But people will know her beyond this from this show.
Actress Sangeeta is very happy to have an opportunity to balance two diverse roles. She says it’s a rare opportunity for someone gets to play a demoness and goddess. And I am enjoying the challenge as an actor.
Furthermore, she mentioned her special connection with the production team and sets. Both the shows are from the same production house, so they plan for me. If I shoot one for Srimad Ramayan, then the next day I will shoot for Karmadhikari Shanidev. She expressed that, the sets are also close to each other, so she can manage well so far.
