Versatile handsome actor Sourabh Raaj Jain shares about picking the pottery this festival season. This charming actor who is shifting between Noida and Mumbai, shares that visiting Noida brings back his happy memories!
Handsome actor Sourabh is well-known for his portrayal of many beloved mythological characters in popular television dramas. Besides his name Sourabh, he is fondly known as Vasudeva Krishna after portraying Lord Krishna in the Star Plus Epic show Mahabharat.
Raaj Jain shares things about this Diwali festival and informed that he is learning pottery to craft Diyas. He stated, Diwali is a homely affair to me and I would love to spend my precious time along with my friends and families. He added, as a child I used to visit Purani Dillimarkets and complete his festival shopping.
Versatile actor Sourabh says, during Dhanteras (two days before Diwali), we used to stay in civil line and visit every open market in old Delhi. I used to buy many clothes and a lot of sweets to celebrate Diwali.
This versatile actor finds pottery meditative and says that he is learning it from Manisha Sah (potter-artist) at Wildfern Pottery studio in Noida. He says I have been working in a creative so I thought to invest my minutes in something creative. However, I wanted to do pottery for a long time and now, I have a chance. I am thoroughly enjoying the learning process and I feel looking at the wheel is hypnotizing.
Even when the piece is ready, I never feel like stopping. Hence, I am learning when to stop and when to swing the wheel. Such things help me to focus more! He concludes that the most exciting part about pottery is the satisfaction of creating something on its own. Raaj says I love to make diyas and candle holders for Diwali.
