Amar Upadhyay who is portraying the character of Gangaprasad holds a special place in the audience's hearts because of his unique acting skills. During an exclusive interview Actor Amar Upadhyay stated that he always worried about the audience's reaction as they witnessed him only in rich characters. He decided to break that stereotype and proved his acting skills in any character. After expressing his stunning acting skills for more than 31 years, he was again approached by the production house of Doree 2 in order to portray the character of Gangaprasad.

While discussing his career journey, Amar shared how blessed he is to be part of women- centric medium shows in pivotal characters. He continued to state that he never chased money instead his hunger was always towards finding good roles and meaningful characters. Amar is always portraying the character of the rich man in the series, currently busy playing a poor differently-abled character in Doree 2. Amar further added that he stopped grooming his hair to play the character perfectly in Doree 2.

According to Amar, as an actor, his looks are half of the job while the performance completes the rest of the character. Unlike movies, the actors are carrying the weight of the television series and not the background score, says Amar. He concluded his speech by showing gratitude towards the audience for showcasing extraordinary love to him and wished them to show intense support to Doree 2.
