Madalsa Sharma portrayed the character of Kavya in the Anupamaa serial and grabbed the audience's attention with her stunning acting skills. During a candid conversation, the actress expressed how she always had these things on her mind unlike her co-star Sudhanshu Pandey’s sudden decision. In an exclusive conversation, Madalsa Sharma opened up and shared the reason why she decided to quit the Anupamaa serial.

Talking about the same, Madalsa Sharma explained how the Anupamaa serial started by featuring the three main characters Anupamaa, Vanraj and Kavya played by Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and Madalsa Sharma respectively. Kavya is the one who brings the spotlight to Anupamaa’ 's life and changed things for everyone. Kavya is a strong and independent character who develops feelings for a married man and pursues him. But for the past year, the storyline was completely changed and moved on from Anupamaa, Kavya and Vanraj.

Madalsa Sharma stated that there are no spices and sparks left in the character of Kavya. Though the creative team of the Anupamaa serial has introduced many twists and plots in the serial with Kavya's character, nothing goes well as planned. So Madalsa Sharma and Rajan Shahi mutually decided to move on from the character. Madalsa's Family members like her husband, mother and father-in-law insisted to move on from the character in order to experience new things and grow in her career. She decided to quit the show because her character wasn’t being appreciated and liked. Let’s wait and witness how the production team are taking the storyline of the Anupamaa serial without the character of Kavya.
