In a recent podcast with Shardul Pandit, Niyati stated that everything that happened during the controversy between Asim and Rohit Shetty was not telecasted to the audience. Most of the serious incidents were edited in the telecasting. She continued that during the heated arguments, Asim was too close to Rohit Shetty and even his bodyguards were gathered around him when Asim was quoted a lot of things. In order to reply to her comment, Asim Riaz took his X account formerly known as Twitter and posted a tweet that reads that some people just need a high five in the face with a chair. His recent tweet was posted a day after the podcast was telecasted and netizens were shocked about his tweet.

For the uninformed, Asim Riaz and Niyati Fatnani had a heated tiff during their stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14.
