Aamir Ali recently discussed how his difficult transition from film star to TV actor made him feel. The actor shared instances of breaking down in front of friends and initially being ashamed of doing TV roles. In his interview, he also shared about his personal life, marriage, and eventual divorce from Sanjeeda Sheikh. Take a look!
Our beloved star Aamir Ali admitted that running out of money forced him to take on low-profile TV assignments. He added how it felt uncomfortable about it behind closed doors. The actor recalls breaking down in front of his pals and adding he couldn’t believe he’d settle for TV work. In an interview, Aamir then explained that he didn’t have a mentor to help him. So he signed up for films and the majority of the films he shot were never released, which he added.
When he hoped for a great debut, his savings were slipping away. Then, Aamir stated he got a call from a Balaji, and they asked if he would be interested in doing television. When he said yes, they were shocked. Ali claimed he would run out of money if he considered himself a movie star. Therefore, he refused to do TV, and then his situation pushed him to do TV.
After he accepted the TV chances, his friends from the film industry would pity him. While they were asking why he was doing TV, he would weep in front of them. Ali was in bad shape and would cry in front of Sohali Khan, Remo D'Souza, and Hansal Mehta. He then added how he would have breakdowns in public places for doing TV. And now he laughs about it!
