Arpit Ranka recently organized a reunion with his Mahabharat team members. While asking about it, he said “It was a lot of fun to catch up with my colleagues”. When he appreciated for his role as Duryodhan, he admitted that he got slotted in the mythological genre. Then he added the same by expressing, “I guess that happened because my personality suited these shows; I am tall, well-built, and muscular”. Production houses and casting directors told him how his body language fit all these roles.
After playing roles in mythological dramas for almost a decade, he has taken a break from TV since 2021. He felt there was nothing left to do on TV, and he has hope to enter films. So that he was staying at home even though it was tough. Before appearing in Bholaa, he used to audition for various films where he was even ready to do those small roles. He thought that a big film could get him visibility, but then he realized that a big film was all about stars.
Despite the challenges and hurdles, he finally bagged Ajay Devgn’s film Bholaa. He felt lucky to have a role in it, but his struggles are not over. Then he added that he wants to do roles that will make people sit up and notice her range as an actor. He felt grateful for TV, which has given him a lot. Now he is happily keeping his fingers crossed and focusing on a career in film.
