its importance on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga. In which, she opened up
about how yoga plays a major role in her life. Further, she shared how it connects with her
physical and mental well-being. When shared about it, “Yoga has added a lot of mental peace
and balance to me. Other than helping me stay fit, it has also added a lot of flexibility, which
I as a dancer need.
She explained that the yoga journey was a natural progression. She enjoys fitness and loves
trying different forms of it. Deepika then added, “Stay fit stay blessed and remember your
body is your temple...health comes first and all the rest follows...so take care of your mental
and physical well-being”.
When asked about how yoga helped her, she pointed out that it has given her the strength to
overcome mental turmoil, backaches, and weight issues and gain more flexibility. If we talk
more about this actress, she gained popularity for her role in the most popular TV serial, Diya
Aur Baati Hum. It ran for five years, and she portrayed twin sisters in the series Kavach 2.
