Actress Shivangi Verma, who has been a part of the television industry for a decade, opens up about her perception of working in TV. There are a very few actors who outright refuse to acknowledge television as their background. While some actors believe that platforms are not a barrier to showcasing their acting skills, versatile artist Shivangi also expresses her happiness for addressing her as a television actor. The Control Room actress Verma shares I am not sure about their mindset or where they are coming from when they call me a TV actor, which I am. Further, she continues personally, I am proud of being a TV actor, and I don’t see any reason to complain about it. Then, she highlights the significant advantage of being a television artist. Shivangi says TV actors get instant recognition in this social media era, which makes them household names. This is the best thing about working on television.

Then, the Choti Sarrdaarni actress says TV has a huge audience, so people often recognize you, which adds to your face value. Being a fan of TV, she said, since I am already a fan of TV, being a part of it feels like an achievement to me, and I plan to keep doing it.

Further, she continued, I am a big fan of daily soaps, and I prefer them over web shows. Even though working on soap means long 120-hour shifts, I have never complained about the challenges, she added.

This is just a part of this job, and if we want to be involved, we have to deal with it! Shivangi Verma concluded that there are some things must be managed, and I don’t find them too difficult.
