Actor Karanvir Sharma is a famous actor who played a lead role in Rabb Se Hai Dua. This actor recalled his nostalgic memories of 2016, playing the character of Manoj Shinde in the cricketer’s biopic Azhar. He shared valuable moments of his life and his working experiences with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Read what he says!
On opening about playing Manoj Prabhakar in the Azhar film, he says, One of the most challenging roles I played was a cricketer in Azhar. I essayed the role of Manoj Prabhakar, and I need to depict a real-life character. I gained weight, got the right body language, and had to learn his cricketing language that was quite orthodox. He continued that it was quite difficult because I had to break what I knew and wanted to learn new things in a shorter period of time.
While asking about share your experience with actor Sushant Singh, he confessed I still remember I used to go to learn cricket in Andheri. Karanvir Sharma said I remember I used to go for my cricket training, and Sushant Singh Rajput was training for the Dhoni biopic. We all used to train there, and it was a great experience.
Further, he continued I realized that actor Sushant is a grounded actor, and he always had a fire in him to learn new things. Then, Sushant asked me, You’re doing something for Azhar, right? I was very naïve at that time and also asked why he was here. Sushant replied me he was training for the role of Mahendra, and suddenly, I wondered why he was not saying MS Dhoni. Karavir mentioned that I remember this memory with him very clearly.
