Yashashri Masurkar said the current generation is aware of the issues that they face the mental health space. They have no qualms about talking, which she added while speaking. Just two weeks before, President Draupadi Murmu spoke about depression and mental health in her interview with Smriti Irani. So that actress shared this is a very good move. Also, she said people have become aware of mental health issues, and all of these things become important today.
The actress Yashashri Masurkar mentioned today that there are many discussions around them. She is from the 90’s generation, and they were the suppressed generation who didn’t have an outlet. But she feels like today generation are aware of the associated mental health issues. Her point here is that people should stand against such crucial things to survive with a strong mind. And she said she is an oversharer, and she feels that it is okay to show that side as well.
Yashashri stated that “it is okay to be yourself, but of course you have to be careful of who you are sharing with”. Additionally, she maintains her mental health through mediation and spending time with nature and animals. It seems to help her; that’s what she concluded.
